As a member of the Ajubeo sales team, the Account Executive is responsible for driving revenue with effective new account sales and diligent account management to include the renewing and expansion of Ajubeo’s existing customers. Ajubeo Account Executives deliver superior service to every customer by engaging in regularly scheduled touch points to fully understand the customer’s evolving IT landscape and ensuring maximum satisfaction by matching needs with new products, product improvements, and Ajubeo support/operations personnel. Ajubeo Account Executives also engage with and support marketing campaigns with follow-up sales activity such as calling and email.


  • Develop and maintain customer relationships to meet and exceed sales goals
  • Proactively execute customer touch point plan to identify new sales opportunities, provide customer service, and ensure account renewals
  • Respond to Request for Proposals (RFP) in a timely and accurate manner, engaging Ajubeo technical and marketing resources when appropriate
  • Conduct professional and informative sales presentations, both in person and virtually
  • Share expertise and best practices with new recruits and co-workers
  • Provide market intelligence to Ajubeo executives based on sales engagements to include product improvement areas, competitive intelligence, pain points, won/lost data, etc
  • Execute direct marketing campaigns such as cold calling, or email marketing
  • Report on personal sales performance via regular sales pipeline update calls
  • Maintain excellent product knowledge and attend all training sessions
  • Ensure accurate and complete lead, contact, and account information is captured in SalesForce.com
  • Proactively update, merge and clean owned data in SalesForce.com to ensure marketing-readiness
  • Participate in coaching sessions to find opportunities for improvement
  • Attend industry conferences to network and develop industry expertise
  • Contribute to corporate sales presentations as appropriate
  • Collaborate on team sales opportunities as needed
  • A desire to wear multiple hats and to contribute to overall team success in any way possible

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Sales track record of exceeding quotas and top 20% sales team performance
  • Familiarity and successful track record selling technical offerings such as cloud computing, virtualization, telecommunications, data center, information technology, or like products
  • B2B experience selling to CIO’s or high-ranking IT executives
  • Demonstrated success and positive attitude towards cold calling campaigns
  • Challenger sales mentality
  • Motivated, positive, energetic, aggressive and outgoing with a selling focus
  • Can intelligently deploy a consultative sales approach
  • Must display the highest integrity at all times
  • Familiarity with SalesForce.com CRM and how to quickly move on to new records, log activity, update information and other SalesForce.com-related activity
  • Honest, direct communication, internal and external
  • Competitive personality; willingness and ability to outwork the competition
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Critical listener with effective questioning
  • Self-starter that does not need constant supervision to be effective
  • An attitude of humility and a willingness to go outside the normal sales role to contribute
  • Must display attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of SalesForce.com, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Willing to travel up to 30%
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Passion for network building via social media such as LinkedIn


  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
  • Intercollegiate athletics a plus
  • High percentage of self-funded education a plus
  • 2-5 years prior sales experience, B2B/IT preferred
  • Performance at or above quota, top 20% of peer group
  • Established Colorado sales and IT network a plus
